Magnus Women’s Initiative
At Magnus Financial Group, we are committed to fostering diversity and empowering women in the financial industry. We proudly introduce the M-WIN Program—the Magnus Women’s INitiative. This program is specifically designed to attract, support, and advance female financial advisors.
Why the M-WIN Program Matters?
Addressing the Gender Gap
• Underrepresentation in the Industry: Despite women controlling a significant portion of personal wealth in the U.S., only 23.6% of all Certified Financial Planners® (CFP®s) are women as of the end of 2022, according to the CFP® Board.1 Additionally, women make up just 35.1% of all personal financial advisors, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.2 This highlights a significant gender gap in the financial advisory profession.
• Economic Influence: Women control at least 51% of personal wealth in the U.S. amounting to an estimated $22 trillion in 2020, and is expected to jump by 30% to nearly $29 trillion over the next 40 years as intergenerational wealth is handed over.3
• Unmet Client Needs: 53% of women do not have a financial advisor, and 67% feel misunderstood by their current financial advisor.4 This indicates a substantial opportunity to better serve female clients who may feel underserved or overlooked.
Our Commitment
The M-WIN Program aims to:
• Increase Representation: Encourage more women to enter and excel in the financial advisory profession, helping to close the gender gap.
• Enhance Client Relationships: Leverage the unique perspectives and experiences of female advisors to better serve a diverse client base, particularly women who historically may feel underrepresented.
• Promote Empowerment: Provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities with the aim to help women thrive in their careers.
